Dr. Joan Jen and Dr. Ketul Joshi each spent time in several different practice settings, working with large staff, high patient loads, productivity guidelines, schedules and quotas. They longed to open a private practice emphasizing personal care and the ability to take all the time necessary to give the best possible care and advice.

We are very dedicated to our patients and we are able to offer full vision examinations to ensure that your eyes stay healthy. Our doctors can help you get the correct prescription so that you can see perfectly. They are also here for you any time you are having trouble with your eyes. They can diagnose and treat many common and uncommon eye conditions to ensure that you get the relief you deserve.

Our entire optometry staff works together to give you a great visit every time you come into our office. We will make every effort to see you in a timely fashion. To do this, we ask that you call ahead with any questions or concerns you have before your appointment.

Dr. Melody To earned her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. She trained in a wide range of clinical settings, from community health centers to hospital-based and specialty eye care practices. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful, personalized care and believes that patient education is key to supporting long-term eye health. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, practicing Lagree and recently picked up crocheting.

Dr. Joan Jen

Dr. Joan Jen possesses a B.Sc. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior, with an emphasis on Physiology from the University of CA, Davis and a Doctor of Optometry from University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Jen has been in practice for 10 years, and specializes in LASIK co-management.

She grew up in the Bay Area and is an avid sports fan, especially for football and fantasy football, skiing and running. She also enjoys traveling and is a big animal lover and advocate.

Dr. Joshi specializes in General Optometry, Contact Lenses, Dry Eye and Computer Vision Syndrome, and is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and the Santa Clara County Optometric Society. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Santa Clara County Optometric Society.
